George K. Kollitides III. Biography

George K. “Trey” Kollitideds III.

Mr. Kollitides is an Analyst at Aegis Capital Advisors (ACA), where he executes transactions, improves operations, and implements financial strategies across portfolio companies. He led a portfolio company through a Section 363 sale, then stood up scalable, cloud-based operating systems and launched an e-commerce channel to expand revenue.

He previously interned at Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps) in the Financial Advisory practice on the Consumer, Food, Restaurant & Retail investment-banking team, supporting multiple sell-side mandates with valuation, diligence, and process execution, and producing market analyses included in Kroll’s annual industry overview.

Earlier in his career, he worked at Alvarez & Marsal and adMarketplace. At A&M, he supported a $22 billion restructuring in the Private Equity Performance Improvement group, optimizing IT contracts and operations that reduced operating expenses by 28%. At adMarketplace, he supported the buildout of Product Listing Ads through market research and analysis.

Mr. Kollitides is pursuing dual degrees in Computer Science (B.S.) and Economics (B.A.) at Lafayette College, with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Data Science. On campus, he is active in the Consulting and Investment Clubs and plays Club Lacrosse.

In addition to his coursework, Mr. Kollitides serves as a student advisor for the Gateway Career Center and the Dyer Center for Entrepreneurship, where he guides peers in career development and résumé refinement. He also interned with the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce and founded the Litchfield Youth Society, a nonprofit connecting students to community-based volunteer opportunities.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoys boating, fishing, travel, and chess. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard OUPV (“Captain’s”) License, trains in Krav Maga, and holds a black belt in Taekwondo.
