George K. Kollitides III. Biography

George K. “Trey” Kollitideds III.

Mr. Kollitides is an Analyst at Aegis Capital Advisors ("ACA"), where he executes investment opportunities, optimizes operational efficiencies, and implements strategic financial initiatives across ACA's portfolio companies.

Mr. Kollitides has recently accepted an offer to join Kroll’s M&A Advisory Group as an intern on the Consumer Investment Banking team (FKA Duff & Phelps).

In addition to his role at ACA, Kollitides serves as a Systems & Operations Advisor for an ACA portfolio company. He led the business's acquisition, restructuring, and emergence from a Section 363 bankruptcy sale. He also spearheaded the implementation of scalable, cloud-based operational solutions and expanded market reach beyond traditional brick-and-mortar operations through e-commerce initiatives.

Previously, Kollitides contributed to a $22 billion bankruptcy engagement at Alvarez & Marsal. As an M&A Intern within the Private Equity Performance Improvement group, he assisted in optimizing IT contracts and operations, resulting in a 28% reduction in operational expenses.

Kollitides began his career on the Business Development team at adMarketplace. As an intern, he conducted business case research and supported the initial buildout of a new search advertising product –Product Listing Ads.

Mr. Kollitides is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with a concentration in Finance and a minor in Data Science, at Lafayette College. He is also a member of the Consulting and Investment Clubs and plays on the Club Lacrosse team.

Beyond his academic and professional engagements, Kollitides is a student advisor for the Gateway Career Center and the Dyer Center for Entrepreneurship at Lafayette College. In these roles, he helps students refine their resumes and develop career-oriented goals and skills. He also interned with the New Canaan Chamber of Commerce and founded the Litchfield Youth Society, a nonprofit initiative connecting students to volunteer opportunities with the Salisbury School.

An avid outdoorsman and strategist, he enjoys traveling, boating, fishing, and chess. He holds an Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) license ("Captain's License"), trains in Krav Maga, and has a Tae Kwon Do black belt
